Vessel Mandrel. 5/8" (15.87mm) to 3/16" (4.76mm). Length of tool is 12" (300mm) . This is a hollow stainless 3/16" tube so you can puff/blow and expand the bottom of the vase, bottle or other vessel. The taper on the end of the mandrel is about 1.5" (37mm) long. Click in the 'Details' for illustration.... The Tapered end of the tool is dipped in bead release (keep the hole at the tip open by blowing out the wet bead release) The blue coloured vessel shape is the hot glass that is blown into with the Vessel Mandrel. While expanding the object with short puffs, the base can be flattened (marvered) at the same time to create a flat base.
