The 4.76mm mandrel or 3/16" is the same diameter that is usually used for making Pandora style beads. (This diameter +/- .02 is slightly smaller than the .25" or 1/4", 6.4mm diameter). Please take into account that you will need a thick coating of bead release on this mandrel (ie dip twice) to slightly increase the diameter of the bead hole so as to accomodate the 5mm silver tubing insertion for fit Pandora Beads.
