Presently out of stock...This is the original and best designed Smircich Graphite Paddle and is ideal for balancing the end of the mandrel against one corner of the paddle, thereby assisting in keeping the mandrel level while turning.The corner of the paddle is diagonally cut with a metal insert to hold the tip of the mandrel.Great tool for a beginner. We used these in the Jim Smircich workshops at Bead Glass and our students raved about how this tool made it so much easier to control the glass along the mandrel.
